HOW TO APPLY FOR HDFC BANK CREDIT CARD
HDFC Bank is one of the largest private sector banks in India established in 1994. HDFC Bank offers a wide range of credit cards with different features.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
Proof of identity:
Any of the following Photo ID
a Passport
b PAN card
c Voter’s Identity Card
d Driving license
The letter issued by UIDAI containing details of name, address and
aadhaar number
f) Identity card (subject to the bank’s satisfaction)
Income Proof:
For Salaried persons:
Copies of latest Salary Slips
Salary Certificate
IT returns duly acknowledged by IT Department.
Form 16
For Self employed/Professionals:
IT returns duly acknowledged by IT Department.
There are two ways of applying for HDFC Bank credit card:
Offline application: i.e. by physically visiting the nearest HDFC Bank branch.
Online application: Click apply now radio button here and follow steps below to apply online for HDFC Bank credit card.

On clicking apply now radio button you will be redirected to a page as shown below in the image. Again click “Apply Now” radio button on top this page.

Now you get two options on this page.
· Use customer id and mobile number: This option is for existing account holders only.
· Use mobile number option: This option is valid for both existing customers of HDFC Bank and Non Customers of HDFC Bank.

We proceed with the 2nd option which is valid for both Account holders and Non-Account holders. Press “Use the mobile number to continue” radio button to proceed to the next page.

Enter your mobile number in the box below and click “Proceed” radio button.

On clicking proceed A form is displayed on your computer/mobile screen as shown in the image below. Now fill this form and slide to open all tabs of this form and click submit button. (all fields are mandatory)

This screen shows you all the cards as per your eligibility. Now you can see features of all the cards one by one and compare to choose the most appropriate card for you by clicking on images of credit cards.

On clicking image of your desired credit card, you will get all the features of the same card and an apply link on your screen click apply online to proceed.

A small application for appears on your screen fill all relevant columns like pan card and salary details etc. Also, validate you PAN card by clicking validate radio button and submit the form.
On successful submission of application, a congratulations message displays on the screen.
Congratulations message as shown in the image above marks the completion of your credit card application.
HDFC bank credit card division team will contact you on your email as well as mobile and send their employees at your directed address to collect your documents, photograph and duly filled in and signed hard copy credit card application.
A hard copy of the application is provided by the same person who collects it.
They also provide you with a unique tracking number of your application.
