Public Grievance Portal is a
powerful tool for making online complaints against any government
department, private company or PSU etc .in
India.
SUBJECTS LISTED CAN NOT BE TREATED AS
GRIEVANCE
I. RTI Matters
II. Court related /
Subjudice matters
III. Religious matters
IV. Grievance against
foreign Government
V. Only grievance may be
registered and not suggestions
Grievances of
Government employees concerning their service matters
including disciplinary proceedings etc.
STEP
WISE PROCESS FOR RAISING A COMPAINT
I. Type “Public Grievance Portal” in google search or type
You will be redirected to Public Grievance porta hme
page.
II. On home page first you need to register on Public
Grievance Portal for raising
any complaint by clicking “sign up here radio button”
under user login tab as shown
in image below marked with red box.
iii. After clicking sign up a form appears on your screen on
your screen as show in image
below just fill this form and press submit.
iv. After successful submission a message flashes on your
screen with greeting thank you for
registering as
shown in the image below. Go to your e-mail inbox and press registration
verification link and click get OTP and enter the same and set your user name and password
for future correspondence and press submit.
v. Again visit home
page of PG Portal and login with your
user id and password and
press “LODGE A GRIEVANCE” radio button as show in
image below.
vi. Tick the check box after reading the points given as show
in image below and press
submit button and proceed to next step.
vii. This is the last step fill this form select authority
whether center or state as shown below I selected
center government and next
ministry/department like I selected department of telecommunication
and in the
example below I raised grievance against telecom company for poor signal
strength in
my area like I typed my mobile number service provider and my
grievance in last tab.
viii. After successful submission a registration number is
generated and your complaint is forwarded
to concerned department.
You will receive a call shortly from concerned company
against which a grievance is raised and
your issue will be redressed soon.
Conclusion: PG Portal is a very powerful tool which enables
a common man to raise his voice
against any government department, private
company or PSU which is not possible otherwise.
